A BRIEF HISTORY
A-Tex Shredding, Inc. is locally owned and operated by four long-time Austin residents, who happen to be female. Having worked in the health care business together for over sixteen years, the owners saw a need in the community for additional security measures for the prevention of identity theft on the part of their patients, and on behalf of the community in general.
The owners' concern for the further education of the Austin community regarding federal and state regulations affecting all business owners (FACTA and the Texas Information Disposal Act, 2005), identity theft awareness and the need to protect the environment through recycling was the driving force behind the establishment of A-Tex Shredding, Inc.
A-Tex Shredding provides your company secure shredding for all of your document destruction needs. We provide a secure shredding location, and the job is completed on the day of pickup. All of the shredded material is then recycled.
